How we use form, chat and order information, and how to manage your choices.

Information and purposes
We use your contact details, project description, measurements, uploaded photos and chat messages to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. Order requests also store your address, selected products and order status. Required fields are needed to complete the relevant request. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information or documents belonging to other people.
Legal basis
Quotes and orders are handled as steps requested before a contract and to perform a contract. Legal duties may apply to invoicing and other records. Security and abuse prevention rely on legitimate interests. Optional analytics and AI chat, when available, require your separate permission; refusing does not prevent submitting a form. Automated replies do not accept an order or establish a binding price.
Service providers
Sites/Cloudflare provides website hosting and storage, and Spacemail handles enquiry notifications. If you consent, Google Analytics measures page usage; form text and contact details are not included in those analytics events. When online payment is offered, Stripe processes payment on its checkout; our site does not store complete card numbers or security codes. AI responses use OpenAI only when enabled and separately accepted. Fixed quick answers do not need AI consent.
Retention and international processing
Enquiries, conversations and orders are stored on the server for follow-up. Retention needs are assessed against open enquiries, contracts, legal duties and potential disputes; unnecessary information should be deleted or anonymised. Expiry of a browser cookie does not automatically delete server records. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Contact us for information about the providers and applicable transfer safeguards.
Cookies and browser storage
The cart session lasts up to 90 days and the chat access cookie 30 days. Drafts and quick-answer history may remain in the same browser; clearing browser data removes them. Google Analytics loads only with your permission. Analytics cookies and your cookie choice are configured for up to 180 days. Ad personalisation is off. Use “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page to change your choice.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, object to processing and, where applicable, request portability at info@mersinadesign.com. You can withdraw permission for consent-based processing without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may request information needed to verify your identity. You may complain to the Spanish data protection authority, AEPD.
